EXPLORERS WANTED:
Hearty anglers for self-guided sports fishing expedition. We are offering a two-week exploratory fly fishing expedition to the Pitcairn Islands of Oeno and Henderson Atolls. Price includes transportation, ship and land sleeping accommodations, food and education on the islands explored. Sufficient gear and bone fishing experience required. Minimum 4 anglers commitment to confirm trip scheduling. Detailed itinerary available. Snorkeling and Diving possibilities abound.

ITINERY:
Day 1 - Port of Call Mangareva (Gambier Islands); you arrive on an Air Tahiti flight from Tahiti. We will meet you at the Rikitea wharf to embark for Pitcairn Island. 48 hours sailing time to Pitcairn.
Day 3 - Arrive Pitcairn Island - stay for onshore with island families for one night to allow tour of the island.
Day 4 - Overnight travel to Henderson Island (a World Heritage Site). Blue water trolling en route. 18 hours sailing time.
Day 5 - Anchor at Henderson; time to go ashore as well as fish for bonefish and trevally in the lagoon and outside the reef.
Day 6 - Fish, dive and snorkel Henderson.
Day 7 - Departure for Oeno Atoll. 20 hours sailing. Blue water fishing en route.
Day 8 - Arrive; set up camp ashore; tour and fish Oeno.
Days 9-11; Fish dive and snorkel Oeno.
Day 12 Depart for Mangareva, 40 hours at sea; Blue water fishing en route.
Day 14 Arrive in Mangareva to make connecting flights to Tahiti.

Medical Evacuation Insurance $150.
Hotel accommodations: $100

All personal items, eg fishing gear, are not included in cost estimate.
Port of Call is Mangareva, Gambier Islands in French Polynesia. Each participant will be equired to have trip medical evacuation insurance.

Disclaimer: Pacific Expeditions and the R/V Bounty Bay are appropriately licensed, experienced and crewed for South Pacific Ocean voyaging, however, this trip is a charter expedition type ocean voyage to uninhabited South Pacific Islands. Although security and safety are always foremost to the captain, crew and participant, this trip has inherent risks and dangers associated with such travel.
