Expeditions

We are a charter boat company with a difference – we are ready to take you anywhere you want to go, anytime you want to do it.

We are keen to explore anywhere in the Pacific – it’s our backyard. We are based in the Cook Islands, hence are well placed to voyage to Kiribati, French Polynesia, Pitcairn, Tonga, Samoa and New Zealand.

We are equipped for numerous activities, with scuba diving, commercial filming, ecotourism and scientific research being our specialities.

As well as all the provisions and equipment aboard the Bounty Bay, we can provide expertise in planning and provisioning your expedition.

We love diving where no-one has dived before. Let us know where you want to go. We’re keen if you are!

Conservation and Oceanographic Research
We have a wealth of knowledge about the Pacific Islands. If you want to know about the islands or do research to protect this area, we can help. Just don’t go telling too many people about these unique places we get to – we like our islands uninhabited.

Bird Watching
Want to tick a few more endangered species off your “seen that” list. We know where to find them and how to get you there.

Commercial Filming
How about doing something no one else has, and putting it on film to share with the rest of the world.

Island Exploration
Want to get to a remote island where planes don’t go? So do we. We will navigate you there to explore hidden wonders of the Pacific and to meet the inhabitants – just do not get to friendly with the pointy finned, sharp toothed locals – it might be feeding time!

Inter-Island Transport
No flights? No planes? No airport? Need to get between our islands. No problem, we will take you. Just let us know when.

Fishing
Bounty Bay was built for big-game fishing and scuba diving around Northern New Zealand. If you bring your gear along, we’ll get a fish or three! We just love fresh fish for dinner, cooked aboard, or cooked traditional style with some of our island friends.

Kayak or Surf
We’re happy for you to bring along your kayak or surfboard on a planned expedition, or you could charter the boat with friends for a custom-made voyage. You can quietly paddle around uninhabited atolls or be the first to surf the wild breaks of remote islands.

We do, too. We never tire of coconuts and Pacific sunsets.
